Learn how to create a training course in the Learning Course area, adding sections, modules, capsules, and multimedia content for participants.

A Learning Course is central to your program. It organizes sections, modules, and capsules to guide participants through their individual learning paths. Follow these steps to create and customize your course.


🧩 Key Components of a Learning Course

Section: A major step in the course, like a chapter, grouping related modules.

Module: A subset within a section that organizes capsules.

Capsule: The smallest unit of content, containing videos, documents, links, or assignments.


🚀 How to Create a Training Course

1️⃣ Access the Learning Course Area

• Go to ⚙️ Manage Program > Participants > Learning > Course.

2️⃣ Add a Section

• Click + Add Section.

• Fill in the following details:

Name: The section title.

Short Description: A brief overview of the section’s purpose.

Dates (optional): Define start/end dates and times for time-sensitive content.

• Save your section.

3️⃣ Add a Module

• Within a section, click + Add Module.

• Fill in the following details:

Name: The module title.

Parent Section: Select the section where the module belongs.

Short Description: A summary of the module’s content.

Dates (optional): Set specific availability dates/times.

• Save your module.

4️⃣ Add a Capsule

• Inside a module, click + Add Capsule.

• Fill in the following details:

Name: The capsule title.

Parent Section/Module: Link the capsule to its respective section or module.

Short Description: A quick overview of the capsule.

Long Description: Detailed content about the capsule (optional).

Dates (optional): Specify availability or align with parent dates.

• Save your capsule.

5️⃣ Add Content to the Capsule

• Click on the capsule, then:

• Use Details to add text, videos, or any other primary content.

• Use Resources to upload supporting documents or links.

6️⃣ Preview Your Course

• Click Preview to see how the course appears to participants.

• Use the Generic Link (available via the arrow next to Preview) to share direct access to the course.

  • Certificates: Reward participants by linking certificates to course completion.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor participant progress through the Inisghts dashboard to ensure engagement.

  • Multimedia Content: Use a mix of videos, quizzes, and tasks to keep participants engaged.

  • Customize Deadlines: Use dates and times for capsules to guide participants through the course at a steady pace.
