Dear managers, we know that creating a module is not an easy task we ask you to do: you have to think about resources, tasks, dates... all while making the experience simple for the participant π
The very soul of the module is the fact that the participant is moving into action by submitting deliverables! Here are a few tips to make the modules more readable and encourage participants to submit deliverables:
Tip nΒ°1
Use short text field for answers that require a few words maximum.
Tip nΒ°2
Use long text field for answers that require sentences or a longer text than short text field.
Tip nΒ°3
If the required answer is long (half a page or more), use an Upload file field so that the participant can develop his/her answer and upload the prefered format (PDF, PPT,...)
Tip nΒ°4
Group several fields in the same task if you think they belong to the same "family of task".
Nb: One field = One deliverable
Tip nΒ°5
If you find that your module has too many tasks, try turning that "big" module into two smaller ones!
Tip nΒ°6
Line up your tasks and modules from simple to complex! This will let participants think that they are making great strides!
Tip nΒ°7
For each module where there is a main resource (video, podcast, ...), we recommend you to create a task "Watch the video " / "Listen to the podcast". This way, the participant will feel more engaged and will start the program/module smoothly!
Tip nΒ°8
Remember, the course must be practical and clear for the participants. Try to maximize the explanations for each requested deliverable!
