Meeting / Chat / Visio : authorize access to Camera and Microphone

Updated over a week ago

The integrated video conferencing service needs to use your computer or phone's camera and microphone so you can interact with others in the meeting.

When you start the video service for the first time, you will be prompted to allow access to your camera and microphone. Click Allow for both. (You only need to do this once.)

If you are not prompted to allow access or if you have blocked it in the past, you can change your settings by following the instructions below for your specific browser.

Chrome

  1. Click the video meeting access link.

  2. In the top-left corner, click the lock icon next to the address bar.

  3. Select "Allow" from the dropdown menu next to Camera and Microphone.
